In the village, standing only 3-4 km from Kőszeg, there is a beautiful park of chestnut trees. Most of the trees are over 350 years old. This is a nice place for a picnic.
Liebing, the Austrian village next to Kőszeg – which can also be reached by bike – hides beautiful, rare treasures. These are the most spectacular, oldest and widest trees of Burgenland, the 350-year-old chestnut trees, among which there is one, which is more than 10-meter width. According to the legend these trees have a healing aura. Those who come here can enjoy the natural silence and calmness of this place.
The park can be reached by a nice panoramic road from Liebing, which is made even more spectacular by the braes of the hills.
