Csónakázó-tó of Kőszeg is one of the most spectacular boating lakes of Hungary, which is an ideal place for those craving for calm and romantic moments.
Situated on the edge of the town and only a few meters from the Austrian border, the Lake is an isle of peace and silence, an ideal place for a picnic and a romantic, relaxing walks. The view of the hills at the Lake, the fresh air, and the nice atmosphere help to forget the everyday stress.
Pedalos and boats are for rent here, but Kálvária-domb (hill) is a nice place for an excursion as well.
At the end of the Stations of the Cross here, we can enjoy a beautiful view to the town.
